To Chavan, the Voice of Valhalla,

Hello sir, my name is Rosanne Silvenbaum, 16 years old and quickly coming upon my 17th birthday. I recently heard about you from a kindly caravan master, and could hardly believe there would be anyone who spoke for any of the Sentinels other than those gifted with the Emogic of Gratitude. Are there other Voices? I am very curious to know. Nevertheless, I simply had to write this letter in the hopes that you might offer me some unique guidance, or more specifically—and I apologize if this may sound rude—that Valhalla might offer me unique guidance.

I am the eldest daughter in my family, with three lovely younger sisters; Aleth, Gwynia, and Kayrie. We are extremely fortunate that our family is notably wealthy, even to the point my parents have been able to give me enough education to write this letter myself. But where there is wealth, there is also choosiness. My dear mother has selected a number of suitors for me which I am to meet on my 17th birthday in two month’s time, which is the reason I find myself in need of guidance.

Valhalla knows all there is to know, and so I must ask, what is the name of the suitor I would be most happy with? I am too scared to discover for myself which of these suitors I should pick, and even moreso that my parents might decide for me. I know what I’m asking is selfish and improper, but it would make my life much simpler if I could just know beforehand. I feel myself to be at a terrible disadvantage having hardly ever spoken with boys growing up. What else can I do but ask for you help?

And lastly, if there is anything I can do to properly show my gratitude, please let me know. I always hope to live in such a way that is pleasing to the Sentinels. I owe them that much for the wonderful life I’ve been given, and I won’t ask for any more than the answer to my question.
